The first time I ordered cookies from Granny C bakery was for my baby shower and they were absolutely amazing. Not only cute dinosaurs, but DELICIOUS. Today, for a work Winter themed party I ordered 3 dozen cookies and again, they knocked my expectations out of the park.
What a great little coffee and bakery shop! The staff are incredibly friendly and the service is top notch! I'm definitely going to be adding it to my weekly routine while I'm in Boise. Definitely recommend this place. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing!
We went to Granny C's this year for our daughter's birthday cake as it was her Sweet 16 and she wanted something special. The whole experience was wonderful as they listened to our requests and asked pertinent questions that helped us make a decision for the right type and size of cake. The result was outstanding and we will definitely go there again in the future. Thank you for your excellent customer service and product!
Asked for a birthday cake for my mother's 92nd birthday. I mentioned it was a tea party and they offered a teapot cake. Absolutely beautiful
This place has become my go-to neighborhood dessert bakery. Seems like the bad reviews criticize them for not being able to make social media caliber designer cakes, but that’s not what they’re about. Everything they bake is focused on flavor and absolutely delicious - like your granny would make! I appreciate they make pies that aren’t overly sweet and cheesecakes that are swirled with a decent amount of fruit! Cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are fantastic if you get them fresh in the morning.
This place is AMAZING! We ordered 4 pies for my grandmas 70th birthday and not only were the pies delicious, but the added adorable decals and lettering out of pie crust!! They truly go above and beyond for customer service and I will be going to them for all my future baking needs!
Omg.. if you want a sticky bun in Boise, this is the place to go. I have tried other sticky buns throughout the Treasure Valley, and this one is super delicious. Once I found this place, I have gone back several times. The staff is so friendly. They also have little tables that you can stay there and grab a bite to eat. They do custom order cakes. I have tried their cinnamon rolls as well, which are delicious. I've tried several other pastries and wasn't disappointed. I will continue to go back to this place always for the sticky buns.
I have only ever ordered special cakes from this place but every single time Heather comes through for me and she is my official/unofficial “cake lady”! They just get better and better. I trust her to take a concept and make it her own or to make exactly what I am looking for with inspiration photos. She also always gives me fantastic customer service which is extra because I am a last minute, high maintenance customer.
Family friendly environment. Everything they make is delicious. Sweet but not too sweet. They made a pistachio cake with chocolate frosting for me this time.
It was my First time in here today and immediately me and my son were greeted by such a friendly gal, she told us all about the sweet treats she recommended, we chose the cream cheese cinnamon roll, chocolate croissants and a frosted sugar cookie! Prices were reasonable I thought for being homemade treats. We will definitely be back to try more!! The cinnamon roll- delicious!!!!
